Tancho Tenev, Burgas

The late Tancho Tenev was a true phenomenon of Bulgarian and world competitions for veterans. He touched many people with his spirit and discipline and impressed everyone with his skills in sports. There is almost no discipline for him that he has not conquered. The Burgas man is a champion in gymnastics, track, all types of shooting, wrestling in classical style and boxing, weightlifting, acrobatics, swimming and even diving.

He started doing sports during his military service and continued until the age of 92. He won hundreds of medals and became the first person to win world titles in two sports in one veteran championship! In his last years Tancho dreamed of seeing his name in the Guinness World Records, but instead it remains in the hearts of all Bulgarians.
